The project suggests femininity, warmth and love for the family. The series of works combines drawing with thread work and claims that female techniques are not low art.
The book resembles a scrapbook (with personal photos, designs and stitches), and the installation is an image of home.

Many of the drawings from my sketchbooks have as central element my family. The passion for sewing and working with thread also came from home – they are connected to the memories of my mother or grandmother sitting and sewing or knitting.

Family Album brings together the passion for certain artistic techniques (some specific to women), emotions and personal experiences and the way and place where I was raised and has evolved.
